The London Climate Change Agency will deliver new, clean energy systems for London, resulting in lower bills and fewer emissions.
Noise pollution will also be reduced through better design and planning.
The Mayor is working with Londoners to encourage more recycling, as well as finding the best way to preserve the capital's precious water resources.

Did you know that London is the only major city where people are shifting from cars to public transport? Improvements to our public transport system are well underway, and work is continuing to make London the most efficient world city for transport links.
